Clauses 13–15

Filming people, claims and approval

Clauses 13 to 15. Consent, allergies and children on camera; the claims we cannot make; and who signs work off.

Version 1.2 · 17 September 2026 · Deustar Pty Ltd t/a Alpha Mart

Clause 13

People on camera

The people in our pictures are customers, players and neighbours before they are content. This clause is the one with real consequences.

13.1Must

Get permission before filming any identifiable person, and get it in writing — a message is fine. Explain where it will be published and that it may stay up indefinitely.

13.2Must

For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian must give permission before filming, in writing, naming the child. Never afterwards. If you cannot reach the parent, do not film the child. The form is in the contributor pack below.

13.3Must

Where food is eaten on camera, ask about allergies before anything is opened. Many Indonesian snacks contain peanuts. This is asked in writing, in advance, of every participant.

13.4Must

Anyone can withdraw. If a person asks to be removed from a video or a photograph, take it down first and discuss it after.

13.5Never

Never script a customer, a player or a staff member into a testimonial, and never present a paid or sponsored appearance as a spontaneous opinion.

13.6Never

Never film inside the shop without Alpha Mart present, and never film another customer's face, basket or payment without asking them on the day.

Clause 14

Claims we cannot make

14.1Never

Never describe the Saturday food as cooked, prepared, reheated or portioned in the shop. The only approved wording is: "ready-to-eat Indonesian meals from a local caterer, packed and ready to take home." This is a food-safety classification, not a preference.

14.2Never

Never feature jamu, herbal remedies, supplements or anything with a health claim. Therapeutic goods advertising is regulated in Australia and the penalties are real.

14.3Never

Never make a nutrition or health claim about any product — not "healthy", not "natural", not "good for you". Describe what it is and what it tastes like.

14.4Never

Never state that a product is halal, vegan, gluten free or free of any allergen. Point at the packet. The packet is the authority and we are not.

14.5Never

Never connect Alpha Mart to any wholesale or import business in public material. Alpha Mart is a retail shop and appears on its own.

14.6Never

Never put a phone number in a Google Business post, in the words or in the picture. It breaches Google's posting policy, and it has already cost this profile its posting privileges once.

Clause 15

Approval

One person approves: Benedict Tam, Director. Send to hello@alphamart.au, or message the shop on 0421 775 555.

15.1Must

Approval covers one use, at one size, on one surface. Reusing approved artwork somewhere else needs approving again. Nobody minds being asked twice.

15.2Must

Where something has already gone out and breaches these rules, tell us before we find it. We will almost always ask you to leave it up and fix the next one.
